MATT BECKER

I have been a trainer since 2004 and hold certifications including NASM CPT, PES, CES along with being a CHEK certified holistic lifestyle coach level 1. 

 

My fitness journey started right after I got out of the military.  I was an avid runner and gym rat but had no formal training.  I lifted and ran almost every day with very little stretching.  Even when racing half marathons and triathlons I would only do the minimal static stretches we all learned while in school.  After a few races I caught the bug and started training and racing at a much higher level.  This meant a lot of time spent swimming, biking and running.  After a while the minimal stretching got to me, and I started to get injured more and more frequently.  Finally, after missing a few races, because I was too injured to participate, I took a friend's advice and enrolled in a yoga class.  This was a life saver.  I began putting the yoga stretches into my training program and not only did I get back to the level I was at before I got injured but I came back stronger than ever. 

 

While I was trying to get better at racing, I had gotten a job as personal trainer at 24 Hour Fitness.  At the time, training certifications and most other trainers put stretching in their workout programs but didn't put as strong a focus as they do now.  With the experience I had just gone through I decided to put more of a focus on stretching and making sure that my clients were doing the exercises with proper form.  I used a mixture of some of my certifications' assessments and some stuff I had learned in yoga to create my own style.  This new assessment let me correct the muscle imbalances that caused my clients pain and create a program that helped them achieve their goals in a much faster and safer manner.

 

My goal in creating Fenix Training Facility is to design a place where the fitness minded, and those who would like to be, can come and train with fitness professionals who teach, program, and train the correct way. 

 

Assess, correct, and then strengthen!

FAITH EBERWEIN

My name is Faith Eberwein, owner and founder of Faith B Fitness. I have a Bachelors degree in Health Sciences and I am a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). I am here to support your health and fitness goals by pushing you out of your comfort zone so you can realize your truest potential, both in and outside of the gym. 

 

My passion lies in working with people in all stages of their health and fitness journey- whether you are an athlete trying to improve your game, a parent trying to get back some of your very well deserved me time, or just embarking on your fitness path , im here for it all! 

 

My fitness philosophy is progress through knowledge. I believe in providing you with the opportunity during our sessions to make progress towards your health and fitness goals, but also I value and understand the importance of equipping you with the skills, knowledge and  understanding behind why we do what we do. My mission is to give you all the necessary tools to be successful in your fitness journey, not only during your time with me, but for a lifetime. 

 

I’m excited to have you here with us and hopefully being able to join you on your journey! Let’s pick things up & put them down.. together!

DONATA TORRES

Hey Y'all.  My name is Donata. I've got a full house & a full heart! 3 beautiful girls, a husband & 3 dogs!  We have been in Woodforest since 2014. I am a certified Personal trainer, a cycle instructor at Rush Cycle Woodforest & a self-proclaimed fitness fanatic! The last 4 years- I have been on my own personal journey. I attempted my first fitness show in 2019 but it was cancelled due to Covid. I started the process again in 2021 & competed in April of 2022 AND WON!! What a journey and accomplishment that was. I am so excited to walk you through your own fitness journey.  I welcome you wherever you are & I will take you where you need to be. I want to help you find your why. My why? Become healthier & stronger so I can live a long & healthy life- what is your why? Once you find your why- your motivation to stay on track will naturally come. 

 

 I am so incredibly passionate about fitness- it truly transforms your life. If you can walk away from a session feeling better- than I have truly done my job. My goal is not only to help you find your WHY but to equip you with knowledge & skills to do better, inside the gym and at home. 

 

I am so excited you are here & can NOT wait to see you in the gym.
